Michael Bezouska DO, MSDirector
Dr. Michael Bezouska has been working in healthcare for 27 years. He spent 20 years as a medical officer in the US Navy. During his naval career, he worked as a ship’s doctor, undertook two deployments to the Middle East, conducted medical clinics in Peru and the Philippines, and completed overseas tours in Japan and Guam. His academic achievements include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University, a Master of Science in Toxicology from the University of California Irvine, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Benedictine University. Dr. Bezouska's residency training at UC Irvine Medical Center specialized in worker injuries, employee health and wellness, and worker compensation case management.

Saori Bezouska, PhDExecutive Director
Dr. S. Bezouska brings professional background in clinical/organizational psychology and teaching in the US and Japan. Upon moving to San Diego, she returned to graduate school in clinical psychology and completed training at a community mental health clinic and a juvenile detention center. As a postdoc clinician, she worked in private practice to gain further clinical experience. She also had the opportunity to do group fieldwork with non-profits in Peru and Ghana. Today, Dr. Bezouska is focused on building a shared community to provide supportive and nurturing residential homes in the midst of the affordable housing crisis in the US. She is passionate about helping people realize their inner strength to heal and grow toward their full potential.

TomoTomo is joining Dr. Bezouska's team upon her relocation to Florida in August 2024. Originally hailing from Japan, she made the transition to the United States following her marriage and spent the majority of her years raising her children in Colorado. Embarking on this new role, she eagerly anticipates the opportunity to forge new connections and is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals feel embraced and secure within our establishment, fostering an environment conducive to their healing journey in alignment with the mission set forth by Drs. Saori and Michael Bezouska.
Her relaxed and nurturing demeanor will soothe your stay. On her day off, Tomo enjoys spending quality time with her children, exploring sandy shores, and playing with her feline companion. |
